Split-Dalmatia County has officially opened applications for GROWit, an accelerator program designed to supercharge tech entrepreneurship and innovation! Managed by Digital Dalmatia, GROWit provides startups with the financial backing and expert guidance needed to scale business ideas and strengthen the local tech ecosystem.

What is GROWit?

GROWit is a comprehensive program that supports entrepreneurs through every phase of business development. From initial business model assessments to one-on-one consulting, participants collaborate with seasoned mentors in tech and business.

The program focuses on high-impact areas, including:

Investor Relations: Mastering the art of the pitch.
Marketing Strategy: Planning for growth and visibility.
Internationalization: Preparing your business for global markets.

€20,000 Financial Support: Awarded to six selected startups.

Who Can Apply?

The call is open to business entities (sole proprietorships, LLCs, or simple LLCs) that meet the following criteria:

Location: Headquartered in Split-Dalmatia County.
Focus: Developing a tech-based product or service with economic potential.
Company Age: Maximum 5 years since registration (up to 7 years if developing hardware).
Exclusivity: Applicants must not be currently participating in other accelerator programs within Split-Dalmatia County.

How to Apply

The application process is straightforward and handled online:

Visit the official County website: www.dalmacija.hr.
Navigate to the 'Natječaji' (Tenders) section under the Department for Informatics and General Affairs.
Complete the online form. You will receive a confirmation email upon successful submission.

Deadline: Applications remain open for 21 days from the date of the official announcement.

The Selection Process

Pre-selection: After an administrative check, a committee will score applications. You need a minimum of 60 out of 100 points to move to the final round.
The Pitch: Finalists will present their projects at a public event. You’ll have 6 minutes total: 3 minutes for your presentation and 3 minutes for Q&A with the selection committee.
Final Ranking: Results will be published on the County website, and winners will sign a contract defining the terms of the grant and participation.
